Dry Clean Only humbly accepts the challenge and honor
bestowed by global icon Nike in creating a one off, one of
a kind workshop: “The Bangkok Department Presented
by Nike On Air”.
Selected as the “Master of Materials”, Dry Clean Only
brings time honored, specialized handcraft techniques,
material explorations, sourcing knowledges and signature
design perspectives to the public for the first time.
The workshop is inspired by the wildly admired Air Max
720. Taking the cue from the model’s generous air space
and futuristic yet easily matched design, Dry Clean Only
opts to stage a jean jacket workshop.
The 30 participants each get a jean jacket to design, decorate and
deconstruct with various materials under the supervision
and guidance of “Dry Clean Only Atelier”. At the end of
the workshop, all attendees walk away with one-of-a-kind
jean jackets and creative memories.
There is also a Dry Clean Only installation where key
Nike apparels are re-imagined and re-interpreted through
the eyes and the hands of the brand’s masterful atelier.
